Alay Foods Pvt. Ltd.

Our place, Alay Foods Pvt. Ltd., is located in the Mehta Building at 1 Kotak Street. We are right by Sanganwa Chowk, which is one of the busiest intersections you will find around here. Being on the 101 level, we get a bit of a view of the street below, but mostly it’s just the sound of horns and people talking. Kotak Street is narrow, and parking is always a bit of a nightmare, so most of us just walk or take a rickshaw. The building itself is an older one, made of solid stone and concrete. It has high ceilings which helps keep it cool when the sun is hitting the windows. We spend our days managing the food orders and making sure everything is scheduled correctly. It is not a very big office, just a few desks and a lot of paperwork. Sanganwa Chowk is like the heart of the neighborhood, and there is always something happening outside. We can see the tea stalls and the cloth merchants from our windows. Sometimes the lift in the Mehta Building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We are just a group of people trying to run a food business without too much fuss. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that, we just handle the work as it comes in. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but it's fine for now.
