Adani Pharmachem Pvt Ltd is located out at Plot No. 2729 to 2731 on Road I-1 in the Lodhika GIDC area. It’s a bit of a drive to get to Metoda, especially when the weather is hot, but this is where all the industrial action is. Our place is quite large because we need the space for all the equipment and materials. Being in the village of Metoda means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. Every morning, the roads get packed with people coming to work in the GIDC. We spend our hours managing the production lines and looking after the chemical processes. It is a lot of hands-on work. We don't have time for sitting around in fancy chairs. Most of the staff are busy on the floor making sure the batches are coming out right. The sun can get really strong over the plots in the afternoon, so we try to keep the indoor areas as cool as we can. We have been at these plots for some time now and have seen the area change. It’s an honest living. We handle the paperwork in the small office area near the front and the rest of the day is spent with the machines. It’s a straightforward operation where everyone knows their job. We just focus on getting the chemicals processed and packed up for transport without making a big fuss about it.
