If you find yourself on Road No. D-1 in Bhupalpura, you’ll see our Binani Cement Ltd office at House No. 420. Udaipur is a beautiful place, but we spend most of our time inside looking at delivery manifests and inventory logs. The office is in a residential-feeling area, which makes it feel more like a community spot than a cold business center. We have a small yard where we sometimes park the bikes. Inside, it's just a regular office with filing cabinets and a few computers. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always on high. We manage the supply for the Udaipur region from here. It’s a lot of talking on the phone with site managers and truck owners. We don’t bother with corporate buzzwords or complicated presentations. We just focus on getting the cement to the construction sites on time. The floor is usually a bit dusty because that’s just the nature of our business. We’ve got a small crew here, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. It feels more like a family than a company. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby, we just want to get the work done right.
