We are out here at 6-Aggarsain Nagar in Sri Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan. It’s a place where the sun really beats down, so our office is a bit of a refuge from the heat. We are situated in a regular neighborhood, away from the main highway but close enough for the transport guys to reach us. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and the walls are lined with calendars and notes about current projects. This town is close to the border, and we deal with a lot of local traders and farmers who are building sheds or houses. Everything moves a bit slower here when it gets really hot in the afternoons. We spend our time checking the inventory and making sure the supply lines are open. There’s always dust in the air, no matter how much we clean, but that’s just life in this part of Rajasthan. We aren't doing any big marketing here. We just know the local people and they know where to find us when they need cement. The phones ring quite a bit, mostly people asking about prices or when the next truck will arrive from the plant. We keep a stash of cold water for anyone who drops by. It’s a small team, and we all do a bit of everything, from answering emails to helping load a small order if needed. It’s practical work for practical people.
