The main thing we do is train people who want to become teachers, so the atmosphere is usually a bit more serious than a regular degree college. The building is right where everyone can see it as they drive through town. We don’t have a huge campus with trees and parks, just a functional building that gets the job done. Inside, you’ll find rows of desks and plenty of charts on the walls. We spend a lot of time organizing the teaching practice sessions and making sure the paperwork for the education board is correct. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the students. Manthani is a small place, so we know most of the families around here. If someone is running late, they usually have a good reason like a bus delay. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a college of education trying to help the local youth get their qualifications. There’s no big fancy sign out front, just the name and the work we do every day. It’s a bit dusty and the paint might be peeling in a few spots, but it’s a real place where real learning happens for the community.
