Sri Ayyappa Traders

We are based out here in Draksharama, right on Yanam Road. The address is 8-95-5, but most locals just know the building. Trading in this part of East Godavari means we work closely with what the land provides. Our days start early because that’s when the activity on the road picks up. We deal with various commodities, mostly buying and selling what’s in season. The warehouse can get pretty full depending on the time of year. It’s a bit dusty and the floors are worn from all the sacks being moved around, but it’s a working space. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us in the back checking the inventory or on the phone with buyers. The weather out here in East Godavari can be tough, especially during the rains, but we stay open and keep things moving. We’ve been here long enough that people just know us and know we show up to do what we say we’ll do. It’s not a complicated business model. We buy, we store, and we sell. The guys working here have been with us for a long time, so they know the routine. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when things quiet down. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but there’s always something that needs sorting out. We’ve been at this address since my father’s time, and the road has changed a lot, but our way of doing things stays the same.
