At 3/65/48, Konthamuru, you’ll find Mahalakshmi Cement Products. It is a bit of a trek for some, but we have been in this spot for quite some time. The work we do here is physical. There is no getting around the fact that cement products are heavy and awkward to move. We spend our days out in the yard or in the shed, getting our hands dirty. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of the time, I’m wearing old work clothes that have seen better days. The area here in Konthamuru is relatively quiet compared to the city center, which we appreciate. We can hear ourselves think while we are working. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just a few of us making sure everything is made right and ready for whoever needs it. Some days it rains and we have to move everything undercover quickly, which is a lot of work. Other days the sun is so bright we have to take frequent breaks in the shade. We have a small table where we sit and eat our lunch together. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to impress anyone with the way the office looks because we spend most of our time outside anyway. If you need something, you just show up and we talk. That is the way we have always done it and it works fine for everyone involved.
