Tripur Auto

Tripur Auto is located right at Maharana Pratap Chowk. We are very close to the over bridge and the Tifra railway crossing. If you know this area at all, you know how busy it gets with the trains passing and the traffic coming off the bridge. It is a noisy spot to work in, but it is great for an auto shop because there is always someone passing by who needs a part or a quick repair. We spend most of our time out in the front area, looking at engines or fixing tires. The sound of the trains going by is something you just get used to after working here for a week or two. Maharana Pratap Chowk is a big landmark, so we don't usually have to give people much direction to find the shop. We have a lot of tools scattered around the floor, and there is usually a car or a scooter parked half-way on the pavement while we work on it. It’s a very practical place. We don't have a waiting room with air conditioning or magazines for people to read. Usually, the customers just stand around and chat with us while we get the work done. The grease gets everywhere, on our clothes and on the walls, but that is the nature of the job. Tifra is a busy hub, and we are right in the middle of it.
