Our office is at 18 Garcha Market, right on M.G Road. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always people walking by and cars honking. We’ve been in this market for a long time, and you get to know the other shopkeepers around here. The shop itself is tucked in there with several others. We mostly handle general supplies and whatever orders come in that week for the business. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some old wooden desks and a lot of paperwork stacked up in the corners. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but you get used to it after an hour or two. M.G Road is always crowded, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours. We usually start the day with a cup of tea and go through the ledgers. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we’re always wiping things down, though it feels like a losing battle most of the time. The market has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything, just keeping the business moving and making sure the items are ready when people stop by. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and pays the bills.
