Our shop is number 45, right by the new bus stand in Pandri. Rajivlochan Buildcon is the name on our papers. It gets pretty loud with all the buses coming and going all day. We’ve been here in this little spot for a good while now. We handle building projects around the city. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of files. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in off the street. They ask about costs and how long things take. We tell them the truth, even if it’s not what they want to hear. Building things is hard work and takes time. Raipur is changing fast so we stay quite busy. We manage the workers and make sure the materials arrive at the sites on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic near the stand. That’s just part of it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few of us here. We keep our tools ready and our plans spread out on the table. We drink tea and figure out the day’s tasks every morning. Pandri is a busy area but it suits us fine. We just keep doing our work and let the results speak for themselves. Most people find us because they saw a house we built nearby. We don't need fancy brochures when the work is right there to see.
