Vglan Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. is based on the 2nd Floor of Block No. 8 in Govindkunj, which is in the Civil Lines area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs every morning, but it keeps us moving. Our office is filled with old blueprints and rolls of drawings that we haven't looked at in years, plus a whole lot of modern files we use every day. We handle building projects around the area and it keeps us pretty busy. Civil Lines is a nice part of town, though finding parking near the block can be a real headache some mornings. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. We are just a few dedicated people who know how to manage a construction site and keep the subcontractors in line. It is a lot of phone calls and sitting in traffic to get from one site to another. We don't really have a polished way of explaining what we do. We just build things. Whether it is a small renovation or a bigger structure, we approach it the same way by just showing up and doing the work. There is always something going wrong on a job site—that is just the nature of buildcon work—but we are good at figuring out a way through it. We like it here in Govindkunj and plan to stay as long as there are things left to build in the city.
