Formost Build is a limited liability partnership that we run out of the Shankar Nagar area in Raipur. Specifically, we are over in Khamhardih, at House Number 15 in Neelanchal Vihar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty peaceful for the most part. We chose this spot because it’s a good base for managing our building projects around this side of town. The office is just a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s full of folders, architectural drawings, and half-empty boxes of tiles that we use for samples. We don't have a polished corporate image because we are too busy actually working on-site. Most of our time is spent talking to the laborers or visiting the shops to pick out materials. We write everything down in ledgers and try to keep the costs from spiraling out of control, which is always a challenge in this business. Shankar Nagar is a nice part of Raipur to work in, and being at Neelanchal Vihar means we have a bit of a yard where we can store some of the smaller equipment. We aren't interested in being the most famous builders around; we just want to finish the houses we started. People usually find us through word of mouth, or they just see our sign at a site and give us a call. We just answer the phone, tell them the price, and see if we can make it work. It’s a simple way to live and work.
