Shreshthkrishi Raigarh Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is at House No 272 in Moudha Para, which is over in Raigarh. It’s a busy little area and we have been here for a bit now. We are a group of farmers who thought it would be better to pool our resources and work as one company. There are a lot of us involved and we all bring something different to the table. Raigarh is a good place for farming but you have to know what you are doing. We spend our mornings talking about the fields and our afternoons getting the actual work done. The house isn't anything special to look at, just a regular home where we do our business. We keep our supplies and our records there. It gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up for a meeting, but we make it work. We aren't interested in looking like a big city firm. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land. Sometimes the crops are good and sometimes they aren't, but being together makes the bad times a bit easier to handle. We handle everything from the planting to the final sales ourselves. It is a lot of physical work and a fair bit of math too. We just try to stay honest and keep moving forward with whatever the season brings us. It's just how life goes here in Moudha Para and we are okay with that. It works for us.
