We are Patel Kisan Samriddhi Producer Company Limited. Our spot is at number 96 in Gram Patrangathana. It's a local group of farmers who just wanted to get organized. Most of us have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. We decided that having a company name would help us when we buy supplies or sell what we grow. It is not a fancy operation by any means. We spend most of our time dealing with the dirt and the weather. If you come to the village, just ask for the Patels and you'll find us. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. Usually, we just meet up at the house or out near the storage area to talk about what needs doing. Some days are longer than others, especially when it’s time to sow or reap. We deal with all sorts of local crops. Everyone here knows each other, so the company is really just an extension of the community. We try to help the younger guys learn the ropes too. It’s important to keep the land productive for the next generation. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a living and keep our families going. It's honest work and we take it one day at a time here in Patrangathana. That's really all there is to it. We just keep our heads down and farm.
