Hiten Grain Stores

Hiten Grain Stores is situated in Harnathpur, not too far from the Post Office in Lehri. If you are driving on National Highway 30, you will find us pretty easily because the road is right there. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the big trucks passing by all day and night. We spend most of our time moving heavy sacks of grain around the store. It is hard work and our hands stay pretty rough from handling the jute bags and the different types of grains we keep in stock. The place isn't very big, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of chaff or spilled seeds, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We aren't trying to be some big corporate warehouse, we are just a local grain store helping out the farmers and the people around Harnathpur. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to rush to keep everything dry. The roof holds up okay, but we always keep an eye on it. Working near NH 30 means we see a lot of different people just passing through, but our main regulars are the folks from the nearby village areas. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where we sit and wait for the next load to arrive. It is a basic life here.
