We've been at Plot No.26 in Sector 7 for a long time now. Kharghar has changed so much since we first set up the yard here, but we are still doing the same thing every day. Most mornings start early with trucks coming in and out. It gets pretty loud with the steel clanging around, but that is just how it is in this business. The yard is usually stacked with beams and angles that we move around with the crane. We deal with all sorts of metal sections and rods. Sometimes people just walk in asking for a small piece of steel for a home project and other times it is big contractors looking for tons of stuff. We keep everything organized as well as we can, though the rain sometimes makes things messy out back. It is just me and a few guys mostly. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. If you are driving through Kharghar you probably seen our sign. We try to be fair with everyone who comes through the gate. There is always a lot of dust because of the construction nearby, but we just get on with the work. Dealing with steel isn't the easiest job but it keeps us busy. We know most of the regulars by name now. It is a decent way to make a living and we plan to stay right here in Sector 7 for the foreseeable future.
