Speedy Ferro Metal Private Limited

Our business, Speedy Ferro Metal Private Limited, is based at E-25 in the MIDC Taloja area. Taloja is a massive industrial zone and it’s filled with all sorts of heavy manufacturing plants. Our spot is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. The building is a big shed-like structure which is perfect for moving metal around. We have heavy machinery that makes a lot of noise, so it’s never quiet during working hours. The air in Taloja has that metallic smell to it, and you can always hear trucks beeping in the distance. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything for visitors. If someone comes by, they usually just talk to us right on the warehouse floor. It’s a practical way of doing things. The concrete floors are cracked in a few places from all the weight we put on them over the years. We spend our days loading and unloading materials or checking the machines. It’s physically demanding work and we usually end the day pretty tired. There’s a small tea stall a short walk away where we go when we need a break from the heat. The MIDC area isn’t the prettiest place, but it’s where the real work gets done. We are just a small part of the big industrial machine here in Taloja. There is always something new to do.
