Uttam Galva

Our office is located in Block No. 09, inside Building 05 over in Swami Samarth Nagar. It’s a quiet part of Khopoli, away from the really heavy Mumbai traffic. We’ve been operating Uttam Galva from this building for a few years. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big reception area or flashy lights. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting at our desks handling the accounts and the logistics for the steel. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It gets a bit damp during the monsoon season, but we manage. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or managing the transport schedules. We don't really bother with fancy websites or marketing. People find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been doing business with us for ages. There's a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It’s a decent place to work. Sometimes the building elevator acts up, so we just take the stairs. It’s not a big deal. We keep things pretty straightforward here without any fuss. If you come by, you’ll see we are just a regular small business trying to keep things moving. We try to stay organized even when things get a bit hectic with the deliveries. That's basically how we run the place every day. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get home on time.
