Supreme Steel Industries

Supreme Steel Industries is located at C-12 in the MIDC area of Taloja. This is out in the Raigad district, so it’s quite a way from the city center. Being in an industrial zone means it is never truly quiet here. There is always the sound of machines or the clanging of steel being moved. Our shed is pretty large to fit all the inventory and the equipment we use. It gets very hot under the metal roof during the summer months. We all just wear our regular work clothes and try to stay cool with the big industrial fans. The floor is covered in fine metal dust and there are stacks of steel everywhere you look. It’s a very gray place, but that is just the nature of working with steel. Trucks come in through the main gate to load up or drop off raw materials. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure everything is cut to the right size. Raigad gets some heavy rain, and when it pours, the sound on the roof is so loud you can’t hear yourself think. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and safety notices. It’s a place for hard work and not much else. We have been part of the Taloja industrial community for a good time now. Most people here know us just by the plot number, C-12. It is a steady environment where we just keep the production moving forward every day.
