Down in the Raigad district, specifically in the Panvel area, you’ll find our lodging house in a small place called Kasap. It’s tucked away in Panvel-II. The address is a bit long to write out, but locals know where the Kasap area starts. We provide lodging and boarding for the folks who end up out this way. It’s mostly a quiet village atmosphere, so we don’t get the city rush here. The building is solid and does the job for anyone needing a bed for the night. We’ve got a few rooms that we keep as clean as possible, though the dust from the nearby construction and roads always finds its way in. It is just the way things go in this part of the country. Being a private limited company, we have some paperwork to do, but most of our time is spent talking to the guests or fixing things around the property. The Taluka of Panvel is growing, and we see more people coming through every year. We usually sit out front in the evenings when the heat drops a little and the air cools down. It’s a very local operation. We buy our vegetables from the village market and know most of the neighbors by their first names. It’s not a fancy hotel with a big neon sign, just a functional boarding house for regular people. We’ve been here through many monsoon seasons, watching the trees grow and the roads slowly get paved.
