Nazir Assam Special Tea Store

Our store is located in Flat No.401, right inside Janta Market in Nerul. It’s a busy spot because we’re so close to Nerul Station and Darave Village. You can hear the trains if you listen closely throughout the day. Nazir Assam Special Tea Store is what we call ourselves. We aren't on the ground floor, so you have to come up to the fourth floor to find us. The market is always full of people, which makes for a lot of noise and energy. We’ve been in this flat for a while now. It’s more of a workspace than a typical shop you’d see on the street. We keep all our tea stored here. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but not too far at all. We spend most of our time sorting through the stock. The rooms are filled with the scent of tea leaves. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything is handled properly. We don't have any glossy brochures or sales people. We just talk to the people who come by to see us. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes the stairs in the market are a bit crowded, but that’s just life in Nerul. We like being near the village too. It gives the place a different feel than the more modern parts of town. We are just here doing our job every day. There is always a lot of tea to move and boxes to stack.
