We are over at Room No. 40 in the Musco Hostel, which is located in Jagdish Nagar in Khopoli. This isn't your typical office building; it’s a hostel setup that we use for Mahindra Ugine Steel Co Ltd. Khopoli is a very industrial town, so there is always a bit of dust and the sound of heavy machinery or trucks in the distance. The hostel is where a lot of the workers and staff stay, so it is always a lively place. Our room is just a basic space with the essentials we need to manage our side of the business. It can get pretty hot in Khopoli during the summer months, and the fans in the room stay on all day long. We have been operating out of Jagdish Nagar for a while now. The routine is pretty much the same every day—checking the logs, talking to the guys at the plant, and making sure the paperwork is in order. It is a very practical environment. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls or expensive furniture. It’s about the steel business and the people who make it happen. You see a lot of people in work clothes moving around the colony at all hours because of the different shifts. It is a hard-working atmosphere, and we are just one small part of that bigger picture here in the Raigad district.
