Maharashtra Rice Mill

You can find us out in Village Kokban, which is in the Raigarh district. We are located right on the Roha Revdanda Road, not too far from Wellspun Industries. It’s an area that has a mix of factories and open fields. Our mill is a busy place, especially when the local harvest starts coming in. There is always a lot of dust in the air and the constant sound of the engines running. We spend most of our time out on the floor or checking the bags before they go out. It’s a physical job, no doubt about that. We don't have an office staff to answer phones all day long. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks up if we hear it ringing over the noise. We’ve been here for years, watching the road get busier with trucks going to and from the industries nearby. The mill itself is pretty basic. We focus on getting the husks off and the grain cleaned up. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it’s too humid for the machines, but we keep at it. People stop by on their way down the road to ask questions. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. The work we do speaks for itself among the farmers here in Kokban. It's just a regular local mill trying to stay on top of the seasonal rush. We like the area and the people who live around here.
