Our work for Ispat Industries Ltd. takes us out to the coast quite a bit, specifically near Dolvi. We are actually based in the RCF Colony in Kihim, Alibag. Being in D/9A is a bit different from your typical city office. It's in the Raigad district, so it feels a lot more laid back than Mumbai, even though the industrial work is quite intense. The colony is a nice place to be, and it's close enough to the plant for us to stay on top of things. We handle a lot of the local coordination and administrative tasks from here. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s more of a place where we wear dusty boots and deal with real-world problems. The humidity in Kihim can be quite a challenge, especially in the summer months. But being near the sea has its perks. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to the site managers. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet gets patchy, but we just find a way to work around it. That’s just how things are in this part of Maharashtra. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. We are just a group of people making sure the Dolvi operations run as they should. It’s practical, slightly messy, and very real. That’s our life here in the RCF Colony in Raigad.
