Ideal Steel Pvt. Ltd. is situated on Karivali Road, not far from Jai Bajrang Bank. It is a very busy road with a lot of trucks and heavy traffic passing through constantly. Our place consists of a large warehouse and a small office off to the side. We handle a lot of steel supply orders. It is heavy, physical work and the yard outside often gets quite muddy when it rains. We have a crane for the larger pieces of steel, but we still do a lot of the moving by hand. My team and I have been doing this for a long time. We are not big talkers; we just prefer to get the orders loaded and out the gate. The bank is a good landmark because people frequently miss our driveway since it's not very well-marked. We work with local contractors and some bigger building companies. It takes a lot of effort to keep the inventory organized. Managing all the different sizes of steel bars and plates is the most difficult part of the job. The office is usually cluttered with papers and delivery slips, but we have a way of finding what we need. We don't do any flashy advertising or have a sales team. We just rely on being here when someone needs steel for a project. It is a tough business with small margins, so we stay focused. We just keep working until the sun sets.
