Harihareshwar Shudh Jal

We are right near the Om Shree Hotel in Harihareshwar village. It’s a nice spot, not too far from where the sea is. We handle pure water for the people staying at the hotels and the locals who live here year-round. Our plot is number 140. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work by stacking things high. Most days you can find us cleaning the big tanks or loading up the small delivery truck. The pilgrims coming to the temple often stop by for some water when they are walking past. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't have a big boss in a suit telling us what to do. We are just local people from the Shrivardhan taluka. The air here smells like salt and the sea. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it’s a quiet afternoon. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. If you want to see what we do, you just walk in the open door. We don't use any complicated technology. Just good filters and clean bottles that we check by hand. It’s a bit of a grind during the festival season because the streets get so crowded with people. But we just keep filling the bottles and handing them out as fast as we can. We’ve been here for a while and most people in the village know exactly where to find us. It’s just a normal local business doing its part for everyone.
