Clear Spirits Private Limited is situated out in Kumbhiwali village. We have land across a few survey numbers like 52/3 and 54/2 and 55. It is in the Khalapur taluka within the Raigad district. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but the space is good for what we do. Being away from the main city noise helps us focus on the production side of spirits. The village of Kumbhiwali is a quiet place and we have tried to fit in with the local surroundings. We have a lot of ground here which is necessary for a distillery setup. It is not a polished office with air conditioning in every corner. It is a working site where things actually get made. The roads around Raigad can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage to keep the supplies moving. We spend a lot of time on the ground making sure the machinery is running and the spirits are being handled right. It is hard work and the days can be long. We aren't interested in fancy talk about our brand. We just want to make sure the quality of what comes out of our village site is consistent. Most of us who work here are local or have been here long enough to feel like it. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business far from the big city lights.
