Bhushan Steel Limited

This branch of Bhushan Steel Limited is located at 614, Bhushan Garden, near Ishambhaphata in Raigad. Being out here in Maharashtra is a bit different from our northern locations. The weather is different, and the pace has its own feel. The office is situated in a spot that makes it easy for us to coordinate with the local plants. We aren't some high-rise corporate office with glass walls. We are right there where the work happens. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, and you’ll usually see someone around with grease on their hands or a clipboard in their pocket. We handle a lot of the logistics and the administrative side of the steel business from this desk. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the right grades of steel are going to the right customers. We have a small kitchen area where we grab our coffee and talk about the day’s plans. It’s pretty informal around here. We don't wear suits; we wear clothes that can handle a bit of dirt. The road outside can get pretty busy with heavy vehicles, which is just part of the job. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure we don't fall behind on the schedule. It’s regular, hard work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We’ve been part of the Raigad landscape for a while now and just keep at it.
