You can find us at Plot No.P-5 in the MIDC area of Taloja. We are right across the road from the big Hindalco Industries plant, which is a huge landmark in Panvel. If you get lost, just look for the Tanish Hotel nearby, and you’ll find our gate. Working here at Banaraswala Metalcraft Pvt. Ltd. means dealing with a lot of heavy stuff every day. The industrial area is always buzzing with noise and trucks moving back and forth. It gets incredibly humid in this part of Taloja, so we keep the fans running all day long, though they mostly just push the warm air around. The floors in the shop are scratched up from moving metal back and forth, and there is always a layer of fine dust on the tables. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or big corporate meetings. We just have a small crew that knows how to handle the metal. Most of us eat our lunch together under the shade of the small tree near the entrance. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and stay until the work is finished for the day. Being in this industrial zone means we are surrounded by people doing the same kind of physical work, and that feels right to us. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
