Rajendra Cement Bricks

Working near the Furkatganj Railway Station means you get used to the sound of trains passing by all day. Our yard for Rajendra Cement Bricks is tucked away near Post Office Sarwan in Tiloi. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. We deal mostly with cement bricks, which means we spend a lot of time around heavy bags and water. My boots are usually covered in wet concrete. The railway station is the best way to explain where we are to anyone who isn't from around here. We’ve got a small shed where we keep the tools and take our breaks. It gets quite hot in Tiloi during the summer months, but we just keep going. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the piles of bricks are ready when someone comes with a tractor to pick them up. Sometimes the mailman from the Sarwan post office stops by for a quick chat. It’s a community feeling. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our hands and some basic machines. The work is repetitive, but it’s what we know. Every morning starts with checking the mix and cleaning the molds from the day before. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the task in front of us. It’s a basic operation and that’s how we like it.
