Baghmundi Vle Agro Farmer Producer

Over here in Sinori, which is a small spot in Purulia, we started Baghmundi Vle Agro Farmer Producer. Binod Kumar Sao is the one who helps keep things organized, and his father Amula Ratan Sao has been around here forever. This place is home to us. Purulia is known for being a bit dry and the ground can be tough, but we make it work. We aren't some big city outfit with shiny suits. Most of us wear our work clothes all day because there is always something to fix or plant. We spend a lot of time talking to the local farmers about what they need and how the season is looking. It’s a simple life, really. We wake up early, head out to the fields, and come back when the sun goes down. The company is just a way for us to stick together so we don't get pushed around. We handle the local produce and try to make sure nothing goes to waste. It takes a lot of patience to farm in this district. Sometimes we just sit around and discuss the rains or why the seeds aren't taking like they should. We don't have any fancy speeches to give. We are just Sinori people doing what we know how to do best, which is working the earth and looking out for our neighbors. There is no magic to it, just a lot of sweat and regular daily chores.
