Paramount English School

Paramount English School is situated over in the Line Bazar area of Purnia, specifically around Hazrat Ganj. It is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on right outside our doors. We focus on teaching in English because that is what parents in Purnia seem to want for their children these days. The school building is an older structure, but it has plenty of rooms for the different grades we teach. We have a small office near the entrance where parents come to pay fees or talk about their child’s progress. It gets a bit cramped when it rains because everyone tries to squeeze under the porch at once to stay dry. We try to keep a decent library, even if the books are a bit worn out from so many hands touching them over the years. The teachers here have been with us for a long time, so they know most of the families by name. We don't have a massive sports field, but we make use of the space we have for games and morning assemblies. Every day is a bit different; some days are quiet and others are full of noise and running around. We just try to keep the kids focused on their lessons so they can get a good start in life. It’s a plain, honest school where we do the work and don't worry about being the biggest or the flashiest in the district. It works for us.
