Belda College

Belda College is located in the Paschim Medinipur district, right in the heart of Belda. It’s a place that feels very connected to the local town. Many of our students come in from the surrounding villages on their bicycles or by taking the local buses. You can see the cycles parked in long rows outside every morning. The atmosphere is quite relaxed compared to the big cities. We have old trees around the campus that give some nice shade when the sun is out. Inside the office, the fans are always spinning and there’s the sound of old typewriters or printers going off. We don’t have fancy elevators or modern glass walls. It’s mostly brick and concrete buildings that have seen many batches of students come and go. People here know each other by name. The local tea stalls outside the gates are where most of the real talk happens. Teachers often stop there for a quick cup before heading to their next class. We handle various subjects and try to make sure the library has enough books for everyone to share. Sometimes the books are a bit dusty, but they get the job done. Life at the college follows the rhythm of the seasons and the local festivals. It’s an honest place where people work hard to get their degrees so they can help their families back home. We just keep doing our part for the community here in Medinipur.
