Working out here at Rayson Engineering & Construction Llp in Durgapur can be a bit of a challenge with the weather. We are over in Link Park, Dhandabad, which is part of the Durgapur Steel Project area. If you live around West Burdwan, you know the air always feels a bit heavy from the plants. Our office is not very big, just a couple of rooms with some filing cabinets and a few computers that are always covered in a thin layer of dust no matter how much we wipe them. We handle a lot of the paperwork for the construction jobs here. The guys are usually out on the sites, so the office stays fairly quiet until the late afternoon when everyone starts coming back in. The roads around Dhandabad are okay, but you have to watch out for the heavy equipment moving around. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of the people we work with have known us for years. We just try to keep the projects moving along without too many delays, though there is always something that comes up at the last minute. Lunch is usually whatever someone brought from home or something quick from the local canteen. It is a practical sort of place. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby, we just want to get the engineering and construction bits sorted out so we can move on to the next task.
