Raj Engineering

Raj Engineering is located in the City Center area of Burdwan. We are quite close to the DSP Karkhana, so the whole area has a very industrial feel to it. You can often hear the sounds of the factories and see the smoke in the distance. Our office is a functional space designed for engineering work, not for looking pretty. We have got old wooden desks, some drafting boards, and shelves filled with technical manuals. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of all the activity in City Center, but we don't mind. We have been here for a while and the staff are all local people who know the industry well. We don't have big meetings with fancy slides. Instead, we usually just stand around a table and figure out how to solve a problem. It is very hands-on here. Most of us drink a lot of tea while we work, and there is always a packet of biscuits somewhere. The traffic around the Karkhana can be quite heavy, especially during the shift changes, so we have to plan our day around that. We aren't trying to be a big global firm. We are just a local engineering shop that focuses on getting things fixed and built properly. It is a simple setup with a lot of hard work going on every day. We like being in the heart of Burdwan where all the production happens. It feels right for the kind of work we do.
