Zoom Computers

Zoom Computers is tucked away in Office Number 4 and 7 inside Sai House. If you know where Ranka Jewellers is, we are right behind that, near the Mahesh Sah Bank. Having two separate office spaces helps us keep the repair work away from the desk where we talk to people. It’s not a shopfront you see from the street, so most folks find us by word of mouth or by looking for the bank. The building is usually pretty busy, and we’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us well. We deal with all sorts of computer problems, from old desktops that need more memory to laptops that had coffee spilled on them. It’s a lot of sitting under bright lights and looking at small screws. Sometimes we have to tell people their machine is too old to bother with, which isn't fun, but it's the truth. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy signs. Our space is filled with boxes, old monitors, and a lot of screwdrivers. Working behind the jewelry shop means it’s a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on a tricky soldering job. We’re just a couple of guys who like taking things apart and putting them back together so they actually work. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local business community here. We just take it one repair at a time and try to stay organized.
