The atmosphere at Bhosari Industrial Estate 14 is always filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of oil. Our office area is separated from the main floor by a thin wall, so you can always hear what’s going on outside. We have a big clock on the wall that hasn't worked since 2019, so we all just look at our phones instead. The desks are covered in blueprints and spare parts that no one wanted to throw away just in case they were needed later. Working in Bhosari Industrial Estate 14 means dealing with the heat and the noise every single day. We have a water cooler that's always running out of cups because someone forgets to order them. Xytel (India) Pvt Ltd is where we put in the hours, often staying late when a project is due. The lighting is that bright fluorescent kind that makes everyone look a bit tired. We have a small break area with a microwave that takes forever to heat up food, but it’s where we catch up on the local news. It’s not a glamorous setup with glass walls and leather chairs. It’s a place for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty and dealing with the reality of industrial work. We just keep our heads down and keep moving.
