Welcome Computers

You can find Welcome Computers over in Hadapsar at the Vishwakarma Estate. We are positioned right opposite the Syndicate Bank, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. If you see the bank, you’ve basically found us. This area of Pune is always moving, and being in the estate means there are lots of offices and other businesses around us. Our shop is where we do most of the hardware work. There’s a distinct smell of solder and warm electronics inside most of the time. We don't have a big showroom with fancy displays; it’s more of a workspace where things get fixed. The shelves are packed with spare parts, some new and some salvaged from old machines we couldn't save. The counter is usually cluttered with pens, receipts, and various screws that we’ve taken out of laptops. It can get pretty warm in here in the middle of the day, especially with all the machines running at once, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes through Vishwakarma Estate. We've been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. People mostly come to us because we are convenient and they know we are usually at the desk from morning until late evening. It’s a simple setup for fixing computers and we don't try to make it anything more than that.
