The office for Soft Tech Computer Services And Rifiling Centre is up on the second floor of Mauli Kripa Building. If you are coming from the main road in Bavdhan, you just have to look behind the MNS office. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but it keeps us moving. Our desks are usually covered with computer parts and printers that people bring in. The smell of printer ink is something you get used to after a few days. We spend most of our time looking at screens or trying to find a specific cable in a drawer full of them. It is not the most organized looking place but we know where everything is. Bavdhan is a nice enough area and it’s gotten a lot more crowded lately. We see people coming in with broken laptops or asking about refilling their cartridges. Sometimes it takes a while to fix things when the parts are hard to find. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of chairs by the door. Most of the work is just troubleshooting and trying to figure out why a machine isn't starting up. It can be quiet in the mornings, but by the afternoon there’s usually a lot of people dropping by. We just try to get through the pile of work on the bench before the day ends. It is just a regular small shop doing what we can with the tools we have in our hands.
