Vinayaka Arts

Vinayaka Arts is tucked away in Shukrawar Peth. To be specific, we are at 949 Indira Nagar, on the 7th Main Road at the 7th Cross. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the streets, but once you find us, it’s a pretty calm spot. We do a lot of different things related to art and making stuff by hand. The workshop is always full of scraps, paint, and half-finished projects. It is never really clean, but that’s because we are always in the middle of something. I’ve been working out of this space for years and I have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be fewer buildings and more open space. Now, it’s crowded but it has a good energy. I spend most of my time here, even on weekends sometimes if a project is stuck in my head. I don't really have a big staff, just a couple of people who help out when things get heavy. We like the work and we like being in this part of town. It feels like home. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go twice a day. Usually, we just stay in the back working on whatever is on the table. It’s not a fancy gallery, just a place where things are made. I hope the directions help you find the way.
