Vinit Arts

Vinit Arts is located at 597 Narayan Peth, inside the Shreyas building. We are right across the road from Mandar Lodge, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Narayan Peth is a busy place with a lot of narrow lanes and old buildings. Our shop is a bit small and usually quite messy because of the work we do. There are always bits of wood, jars of paint, and half-finished frames lying around the place. We aren't a big, clean art gallery. It is more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty every day. People come in with all sorts of things they want us to look at or fix up. We just use the same old tools we have had for a long time. There isn't any fancy computer stuff here, just us working with what we have. Sometimes we have so many projects going on that it’s hard to find a place to stand. We don't have a website or do any big marketing. If you need something, you just come by and we talk about it over the counter. The neighborhood is loud and there is always something going on outside, but we like the energy of it. It’s a practical little shop where we do our best with every piece that comes in. We’ve been here for years and know most of the people on this street.
