Vinayak Industries

Our workshop is tucked away in the Nandadeep Industrial Complex on Talawade Road. If you know the area, you know it's a busy spot with lots of small shops and factories all crammed together. We occupy unit No. B-9. It's where Vinayak Industries does all its work. Usually, it's pretty loud inside because of the machines running, so we have to speak up when customers come in. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing everything that's happening on the floor. There's oil on the floor sometimes and a lot of metal scraps, but that’s part of the trade. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders finished and out the door on time. Talawade Road gets pretty backed up with traffic in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early. Some of the guys here have been working these machines for years. They know the sounds the equipment makes when something is slightly off. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things by hand. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you'll probably just see one of us in work clothes. We keep a pot of tea going in the back for when we take a break. It's just a regular place where we work hard and go home tired.
