We are located out in Handewadi, over in the Haweli taluka in Pune. Our spot is near the Mayur Mangal Karyalya, right on Handewadi E-Street in Hadapsar. It is an area that has changed a lot lately with more buildings going up. We work with various chemicals, so the warehouse has that specific smell that you never really get used to, but you stop noticing after a while. It is a pretty large space because we need room for the drums and containers. We spend most of the morning loading and unloading stuff from the trucks. It is heavy work and it gets hot in the afternoons, especially under the tin roof. We do not have a fancy front office; it is mostly just a desk near the main door where we keep the logbooks. The trucks come in and out all day, so it is pretty noisy with the engines and the shouting. We try to keep things moving so we do not get a backlog of orders. It is not the kind of place where you would come to hang out, but it is where we do our business. We have a small fan that mostly just moves the hot air around. Sometimes we have to deal with paperwork that feels like it takes longer than moving the actual chemicals. It is a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We just focus on getting the right barrels to the right people.
