I am Vijay Prakash Deokaran Chaubey and you can find me over at Hadapsar Main Marbals. It is a busy spot with lots of trucks and people moving things around all day. We deal with a lot of stone and marble, so it is heavy work and everything gets covered in a bit of white dust. That is just how it is when you are working with these materials. I have been doing this for quite some time now in the Hadapsar area. The yard is usually full of slabs of different colors and sizes. Some are polished and some are still rough. People come by looking for something for their floors or maybe a kitchen counter. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights. You just walk around the yard and look at what we have available. It is loud sometimes because of the cutting machines, but we are used to it. I have a few guys who help me with the heavy lifting because those slabs are no joke. We try to keep things moving so customers do not have to wait too long. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We show you the stone, we tell you the price, and we get it loaded up for you. It is practical work and it keeps us on our feet all day. Sometimes we get rained out, but mostly we are here rain or shine.
