Vashnavi Art Studio

We are tucked away in Lane Number 4 of Gokul Nagar. It’s off the main Katraj Kondhwa Road. If you are looking for us, the easiest way is to find Sharada Bank and then look for the lane. We are in the Kondhwa Budruk area. The studio is where we do all our art work. It’s not a big gallery with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop with canvases leaning against the walls and paint stains on the floor. We like it that way. It feels like a real place where things actually get made. Gokul Nagar is a decent neighborhood to work in. It can be a bit quiet in our lane, which is good when we need to concentrate. On the other hand, the Katraj Kondhwa Road is always buzzing with traffic. Sometimes we hear the horns all day. We started Vashnavi Art Studio because we just wanted a space to create. We do all sorts of things, from sketches to larger paintings. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything. It’s just a few of us. We take orders as they come. Sometimes we’re really busy and other times it’s a bit slower. That’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve gotten to know the people around Lane 4 pretty well. It’s a nice community.
