Swastik Marble Art.

We are over here at Survey No.41/4/3 in the middle of the Marble Market in Ambegaon. It gets pretty dusty around here with all the stone being cut and moved every day, but that is just how it is when you work with marble. Most people know the spot because we are right near Dutta Mandir. If you are walking around the market, you will probably see us. We have been at this location for some time now, just doing what we do with the stone. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get in, but that is life on this side of town. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just a place where the work happens. We spend most of our mornings unloading slabs and checking the pieces for any cracks. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the weather makes it tough when the sun is beating down on the yard. People from all over come to this market looking for things for their houses. We just stay busy with our orders and try to keep things moving. There is always noise from the machines nearby. It is not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it by now. Being in Ambegaon is good for us because the suppliers are close. We just keep the gates open and handle whatever comes through each day.
