Valchand Nihalchand & Company

We are located in the Gopipura Camp area, right near the Hanuman Mandir. Our shop is at 347 in Kayasth Mohallo. It’s an old part of the city, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The building we’re in has seen better days, but it works for us. We do our business the old-fashioned way. We talk to our customers face to face and keep our records in books. It’s a bit slower than the modern way, but it suits us just fine. Being near the temple means there are always people around. We hear the bells and the traffic every day. It’s a lively neighborhood to be in. Our family has been running things for a while, and we don't plan on changing much. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do right by the people who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit and watch the street. Other times, it’s a mad rush and everyone is talking at once. We take it as it comes. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. If people want to find us, they just come to Kayasth Mohallo. We’ve always been here, and we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a simple life and a simple business that we enjoy running together. It keeps us on our toes and connects us to the history of this neighborhood.
