Trupti Chhajed

Being located in Kurla West near the Shalimar Hotel is quite the experience every single day. Trupti Chhajed operates out of the Paras Shopee area, which is always packed with people moving back and forth. Reliable Trading is what happens here, mostly tucked away in this busy pocket of the city. The office isn't very large, but it fits the desks and the files we need. You can smell the food from the hotel nearby around lunchtime, which is usually when things get the most hectic. We deal with various trading tasks and handle a lot of paperwork that piles up on the corner table. The traffic outside on the main road is constant, and the horns never really stop. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, though the walls are thin enough that you hear the neighbors talking in the hallway. We have a small window that looks out toward the back, but there isn't much of a view, just other buildings and some hanging wires. It’s a practical space for work. We start early and usually stay until the lights in the market start coming on. The floor gets a bit dusty from the street outside, so we’re always sweeping. It’s a very local way of doing things, right in the heart of Kurla. We’ve got our routine down, and the people around the Paras Shopee area are familiar faces by now. It just works for what we do here in Vadgoensheri.
