Tripathi & Co

We've been here at 49/5 Laxmi Road for quite a long time now. Most people know this part of Budhwar Peth is always crowded and noisy, but we are used to it. Our office, Tripathi & Co, is just a regular place where we get our daily work done. Usually, the morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the fans going because it gets warm pretty quick. There are usually files piled up on the desks and the phone rings more than we’d like sometimes. We aren't a big fancy firm with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a few of us sitting here doing what needs to be done. We take our tea breaks together at the small stall downstairs. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but that is just life in this area. We know the neighbors and the delivery guys by name. It’s a bit cramped inside when we have a few people visiting at once. We don't really have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. People find us because they know where Budhwar Peth is and they recognize the building. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it looks a bit messy. It is a practical space for practical work. Nothing more and nothing less than that. We just show up every day and do the job and then head home when it is finished for the day.
