We are located on the ground floor of Kala Bhavan at 3 Mathew Road. Being right in the Opera House area means we are surrounded by a lot of history and a lot of traffic. Tinychem Specialities occupies a space that has high ceilings and those thick walls you only find in older buildings. It stays a bit dusty because of all the construction and movement outside, but we try our best to keep the desks clear. The ground floor location is handy for when we have to move stuff in and out, which happens quite a bit. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly walking past our windows on their way to the diamond markets or the station. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We have a small pantry where the tea is always brewing. We aren't the type of company that has a social media manager or anyone to take professional photos of our office. It’s just us, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of technical manuals stacked up in the corners. We focus on the specialty side of things, so the work can get pretty detailed. If the weather is nice, we might step out for a walk toward the sea, but usually, we are glued to our desks until the sun goes down. It's just the way the work goes in this part of South Mumbai.
